Ever tried living in delusion and self-deceit even though cruel facts are explicitly staring at you? How about convincing yourself into trusting someone and giving him/her umpteen second chances despite all the successive disappointments? Finding excuses to help others get away from a mistake so that their perfect images aint marred in your heart? What about thinking about the same matter over and over again to search for possible reasons for someone's particularly hurtful words or actions? Telling yourself you're just being oversensitive? Talking yourself into believing that everything's a coincidence or an accident?
We're simply running away and it's mere naivety and sheer stupidity that make us do that. Time to wake up and, welcome to reality.
